Spring Season - Registration Information

Below is information to help you register your child for Spring 2024 Baseball, Softball, & T-Ball.  If you have questions, e-mail [email protected] and we will be glad to help.

How to Register:

The Registration Form will guide you through what programs are available for your player. The programs are based on player ages; should you have any questions/concerns, please utilize the "Additional Notes" field and they will be addressed once you submit the form.

Programs and Divisions:

Mathews Little League splits teams into several divisions based on age and in some cases gender. Division Information explains each division and the  players that are eligible.

Division Information

Eligibility:

Eligibility must be established by way of residency inside the Mathews Little League boundaries, or if the school where the child attends is located inside those boundaries.  Furthermore, the child's league age must fall within the age requirements for the particular program in which they are registered. 

League Age - The age your player is considered for each season is determined by the Little League age chart.  The Little League provides an Age Chart where you can enter the program, birth year and month to determine your players league age.

Player Management & Team Communication:

Mathews Little Leagues uses a team management and communication app called TeamSnap. You will need to download the TeamSnap app to receive communication from your teams coach and track/manage games & practices. Learn more about TeamSnap.

Uniforms:

All players will receive a jersey, and depending on the program and age, they will either receive socks or a hat which is all included in the registration fees. 

Schedule:

Mathews Little League is unable to accommodate the overwhelming number of schedule requests for “Event” time and dates but we try our best to maintain a consistent schedule for each team. Because of circumstances (i.e. Weather) the schedule is subject to change after being posted. Generally, the practice schedule is released within 1-2 weeks of the first practice date and the game schedule will follow shortly thereafter. Parents should anticipate their child to have 1-3 “Events” (Practice or Game)  per week. Your coach may decide to schedule extra practices during the week/weekend and will notify you of such additions as necessary. 

Volunteers:

Mathews Little League relies solely on our volunteers to ensure a smooth and successful season. In years past we required participation from our parents to help with things like concessions, facilities, umpiring, coaching, etc. We are in great need of volunteer support to help keep costs low and participant experience high.
